How It Works - Reduce Costs; Increase Efficiency

Transporting StarchTech’s biodegradable resin in pellet form saves energy and warehousing space, and can be produced on demand using an extrusion machine, giving you a return on investment that even your accountants will appreciate.
One 2000 lb. tote of the resin pellets produces about as many peanuts as a trailer load of expanded packing peanuts. One trailer load of the resin pellet material is the equivalent of approximately 23 trailer loads of packing peanuts. A Simple Solution

The simplicity of the StarchTech system resides in the easy integration of an extrusion machine at the customer or distributor site. The extruder runs on electicity, and poses no special OSHA concerns. Each system is customized to suit the needs of the facility and does not typically require a full-time operator to supervise the extruder.
The environmentally friendly product and process create a biodegradable resin pellet, a pre-finished form of the "puffed" packing peanut. The resin pellet is then expanded to form the finished biodegradable packing peanut. This process carries none of the concern for airborne toxins or other health risks associated with the production of petroleum-based loose fill packaging.
Polystyrene Alternative
